Kylian Mbappé was seen looking a little confused as he watched with his teammates the French team’s victory over New Zealand at the Rugby World Cup opener in Paris.
After participating in France’s victory over Ireland (2-0), the Paris Saint-Germain star striker decided to indulge in a little rugby for the opening of the Cup people Friday evening.
France, the host country, began the tournament with a victory over New Zealand (27-13), in front of a packed Stade de France. The striker was present in the crowd alongside teammates Antoine Griezmann, Dayot Upamecano and Ousmane Dembele and did not appear very familiar with the sport, his very late reaction to some points being scored having been filmed.

Whether Mbappé chose to be there or was forced to be there, it’s no surprise he looks so confused. There is no doubt that the striker devotes all his time to football, and it is likely that the 24-year-old will have time to dabble in other sports, particularly rugby, which can be a little confusing for those who don’t know him.
After having played a little rugby on Friday, Mbappé will devote himself to football again during the meeting between France and Germany on September 12.
