Paris FC's feat against Arsenal

The Parisiennes took out the English during the 1st preliminary round of the Champions League.

Superb performance from Paris FC players! The Parisiennes eliminated Arsenal (3-3, 4-2 tab), on neutral ground (in Sweden), during the first preliminary round of the Champions League.

Gaëtane Thiney’s teammates, however, believed that they had missed their chance, leading 2-0 during regulation time, then 3-2 in extra time, before coming back each time. But the penalty shootout went in their favor.

Paris FC thus eliminates the third of the last Premier League season, but will still have to go through a play-off round to join OL and PSG in the group stage.
