Belgium regained the lead of its qualifying group for Euro 2024 by winning this Saturday in Azerbaijan (0-1).

Belgium won in Azerbaijan (0-1) this Saturday, as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Without Kevin De Bruyne (injured) but with Romelu Lukaku starting, the Red Devils made the difference in the first period , on a goal from Yannick Ferreira Carrasco (38th).

This success allows Belgium to regain the lead of this group F, with 10 points, the same total as Austria. Domenico Tadasco’s men could take another step towards qualification if they succeed against Estonia on Tuesday, especially if Austria win in Sweden at the same time.

Helped by a lucky goal from Carrasco, Belgium leads 1-0 against Azerbaijan.
