Since then, the courts have initiated numerous procedures and multiple investigations. One of them concerns Kadidiatou Diani and her companion. César Mavacala is in fact the target of an investigation for illegal exercise of the profession of agent. According to The Teamthe latter was opened by the Versailles prosecutor’s office in March 2023. The companion of Diani, an OL attacker, is suspected of playing a role that goes beyond that of a simple sports advisor.
César Mavacala is in regular contact with the clubs of his protégés but he denies the accusations for the moment, ensuring that he does not receive commissions at the level of those received by the agents. Last March, already, Jean-Pierre Bernès, the agent of the former Bleues coach Corinne Diacre, believed that the companion of Kadidiatou Diani (28 years old) was behind the eviction of his client. “More and more people claiming to be sports advisors are intervening in negotiations even though it is forbidden… In fact, a sports advisor is someone who cannot legally act as a player’s agent”, he said, undoubtedly targeting César Mavacala. As a reminder, the latter also refutes his indictment for organized extortion, since he is suspected of having put pressure on PSG to obtain the signature or contract extension of the players he advises, explains The Team.
