Despite the first reassuring medical examinations since his injury exit against Ireland at the Parc des Princes in the middle of last week after being hit once again in the ankle, Olivier Giroud did not want to take any risks with the latter. While the French team must face Germany this Tuesday in Dortmund during a friendly match, the top scorer in the history of the French selection preferred not to worsen his situation by playing against the Nationalmannschaft.

Indeed, Olivier Giroud has decided not to take any risks in order to be operational as quickly as possible for the next AC Milan matches, as soon as the international break returns. With the Milan club’s entry into the Champions League against Newcastle at San Siro but also a Madonnina derby against Inter and an Italian derby against Juventus, the former Arsenal striker even chose to leave the Blues gathering to return to Lombardy.
