Thursday evening, the France team did the job against Ireland thanks to achievements by Aurélien Tchouaméni and Marcus Thuram (2-0). A victory that feels good, before facing Germany next Tuesday. At the same time, or almost, the XV of France began its World Cup at the Stade de France against New Zealand on Friday. And Antoine Dupont’s teammates did not disappoint, winning in turn (27-13) against the All Blacks.

At home, in a boiling stadium and between the songs of the Marseillaise, several players from the French team were present to encourage their fellow rugby players. Among them, Kylian Mbappé, Olivier Giroud, Jules Koundé, Antoine Griezmann and Théo Hernandez to name a few. A mark of solidarity which is nice to see, especially at the start of the World Cup which Fabien Galthié’s team intends to win.
