AS Monaco signing Folarin Balogun says his departure from Arsenal was an “easy” decision.

Balogun left the Gunners for ASM during the previous transfer window. Today, he is pleased to have made this choice. “The decision was easy to make when Monaco showed interest,” he revealed to Offside With Taylor Twellman.

“I told my agent, ‘This is the only place I want to go.’ And luckily for me, he made it happen.”continued the former Remois.

Monaco is at the top of Ligue 1 after four days of the championship. This reassures Balogun that he made the right decision in joining the Principality. “I think, for me, it was important to go to a team that competes to win things, he pointed out. It’s a very great team in the French championship. And at the same time, I want to play matches.
