While Zinedine Zidane could be interested in a new experience on the Real Madrid bench, the Madrid leaders would have other plans in mind.

Without a club since his departure from Real Madrid more than two years ago, Zinedine Zidane proclaimed at the start of the summer his desire to return to the sidelines in the near future. Yes, but there you have it, the former number 10 of the Blues has high demands and has not found the right fit, despite rumors sending him to PSG, Juventus Turin or even Casa Blanca.

Next season, a place could become available on the sidelines of the White House. Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti sees his lease end in June 2024 and could join the Brazilian selection immediately. Unless, ultimately, Florentino Perez offers him an extension. If that were to happen, the Italian technician would not say no, according to journalist Edu Aguirre. And in the event of the departure of the PSG coach, Zidane Zidane would not be the priority…

Xavi Alonso on pole

Edu Aguirre revealed on the show El Chiringuito that Xabi Alonso was the big favorite to succeed Carlo Ancelotti in the event of the latter’s departure. The former Merengue midfielder, currently stationed at Bayer Leverkusen, would be favored by Florentino Perez and his teams. Arbeola and Raul would be the two other options considered by Madrid management. Zinedine Zidane is therefore clearly not part of the White House’s plans.
