Barça’s young nugget, Lamine Yamal, hit hard for his big debut with the Spanish selection.
Called up for the very first time by Luis de la Fuente at just 16 years old, Lamine Yamal did not miss his big debut with La Roja.
Coming into play in the 44th minute in place of Dani Olmo, during Spain’s large victory in Georgia (1-7), as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, the FC Barcelona winger is thus becoming the youngest player, at 16 years and 57 days, to wear the jersey of the Spanish selection, ahead of Gavi (17 years and 62 days).
But that’s not all, Lamine Yamal also became the youngest scorer in the history of La Roja by scoring his team’s last goal on a serve from Williams (74th).
