OM, supporters attacked, the verdict falls

The incidents that occurred during AC Ajaccio-OM last June found a legal outcome on Friday with the verdict concerning the so-called Kenzo affair.

One of the three defendants risked six months in prison, according to the arguments heard at the trial which was held on August 26 in Corsica. Friday, the verdict in the Kenzo case handed down a reprieve for three AC Ajaccio supporters.

They were found guilty by the Ajaccio criminal court of having attacked a little boy and his parents in a dressing room, under the pretext that the family had an OM jersey on June 3, 2023 at the François-Coty stadium in Paris. AC Ajaccio (38th day of Ligue 1).

The Court sentenced the ACA fans, aged around twenty, to twelve months in prison, a three-year stadium ban and fines. The young people had denied having hit Kenzo’s father to take away the Marseille Olympique tunic.
