Fabien Centonze was laid off for a week by the management of FC Nantes. The former FC Metz player would have had inappropriate words towards coach Pierre Aristouy.

Even during the international break, something is happening at FC Nantes. This week, Ouest-France revealed that right-back Fabien Centonze had been laid off for a week. The regional daily explained that the former FC Metz player would have had “a disrespectful attitude towards the members of the staff and the coach, Pierre Aristouy. »

According to L’Equipe, Centonze would have said this to his trainer during a session: “Anyway, I have four years of contract. You, in four weeks, we don’t know if you will be there. » At the same time, the player allegedly refused to shake his coach’s hand, and he was not present at La Beaujoire on match days, while those absent from the group are still required to go to the stadium.

In Ouest-France, Centonze’s lawyer explains that the management of FC Nantes is making him pay for a turbulent summer. The defender would have wanted to join Rennes, in vain, before refusing the other avenues proposed by the club. “This summer, FC Nantes refused an offer from Rennes for Fabien because the club told us that it was counting on him, told us good things about him and that he was an exemplary player, explains Maître Cormier. Today, the club management is submitting uninteresting offers to him and making him pay for refusing them. It’s a form of harassment. We will ask for his reinstatement very quickly. »
