The composition of the France team to face Ireland, Thursday evening at the Parc des Princes, has been unveiled and Adrien Rabiot, absent in June, is well aligned from the start by Didier Deschamps.

Didier Deschamps did not reserve any surprises in the starting lineup of the France team for the reception of Ireland, this Thursday (8:45 p.m.), at the Parc des Princes, in the Euro 2024 qualifiers (the Blues are in contention for a 5th victory in as many matches, to get ever closer to qualification). The official composition is that which was set up on the eve of the meeting.

Thus, Jules Koundé is preferred to Benjamin Pavard on the right of the defense, Lucas Hernandez is aligned alongside Dayot Upamecano in the absence of Ibrahima Konaté (and at the expense of William Saliba, on the bench), and Adrien Rabiot finds his place in the midfield, after missing the two matches in June, which had allowed Eduardo Camavinga to start against Gibraltar and then Greece.

In attack, Olivier Giroud is posted at the forefront, with Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé on the sides of the 4-3-3. Kingsley Coman, Randal Kolo Muani and Marcus Thuram are the attacking options on the bench.

The starting lineup: Maignan – Koundé, Upamecano, L. Hernandez, T. Hernandez – Griezmann, Tchouaméni, Rabiot – Dembélé, Giroud, Mbappé (cap.).
