Kylian Mbappé should finally leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to a source.

According to 90min, Mbappé has repeated to the club that he will not sign a new contract despite discussions for an extension this summer. The Frenchman is even ready to give up the €80m loyalty bonus he owes the club and will leave when his contract expires next year.

The Bondynois generated a major conflict with PSG at the end of last season when he informed the club that he would not be initiating the option to extend his contract for another year. President Nasser Al-Khelaifi then gave him an ultimatum, asking him to extend or be sold during the transfer window.

However, it seems that the French star has reconsidered his positions since the end of the transfer window last week and that he will leave the club in 2024.

Al-Khelaifi warned the 24-year-old he risked an entire season on the bench if he refused to commit to the club, but he was soon reinstated in Luis Enrique’s squad and has already scored five goals in three Ligue 1 matches this season. With the latest developments, PSG could choose to ban him from the squad or let him continue playing due to his importance to the team.
