The Saudi Pro League still has a few hours to recruit, with its summer transfer window ending this Thursday evening. The reigning Saudi Arabian champion club, Al-Ittihad – who could not complete the arrival of Mohamed Salah this summer – offered themselves a latest recruit from Europe, in the person of Italian central defender Luiz Felipe, from Real Betis.
The former Lazio is committed to the People’s Club for the next three seasons and therefore joins Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté or even Fabinho. He therefore leaves the Andalusian formation, whose colors he had defended 34 times between last season and the one that has just started. The Yellow-and-Black paid out a check for 25 million including bonuses to secure the services of the 26-year-old central.
