The Blues want to continue their faultless. With four victories in as many matches, France is ideally launched on the road to Euro 2024 in Germany. Kylian Mbappé’s teammates lead Group B with 12 points and have the opportunity to take another step towards qualification if they win against Ireland tonight (kick-off 8:45 p.m., a match to follow live on FM). The Irish are already back to the wall with only three points in three games. As a reminder, the first two of the group qualify for the European Championship.

For this meeting, Didier Deschamps opts for the classic 4-2-3-1. Maignan keeps the goal. Lucas Hernandez is preferred to Saliba in hinge with Upamecano. His brother Theo will evolve on the left and Koundé on the right. In the middle, Rabiot and Tchouaméni start while Camavinga is on the bench. In front, Giroud is supported by Mbappé, Griezmann and Dembélé. On the Stephen Kelly side, we opt for a three-way defense with Collins, Egan and Stevens. Duffy and Browne will be hosting the sides then. In front, Idah will be supported by Ogbene and Knight.

The official compositions:

France : Maignan – Koundé, Upamecano, L. Hernandez, T. Hernandez – Tchouaméni, Rabiot – Dembélé, Griezmann, Mbappé – Giroud.

Ireland: Bazunu–Collins, Egan, Stevens–Duffy, Molumby, Cullen, Browne–Ogbene, Idah, Knight.
