In the Zidane family, I would like the 4th son. After Enzo Zidane (free), Luca Zidane (Eibar), Théo Zidane (Real Madrid Castilla), it’s Elyaz Zidane’s turn to rub shoulders with the world of football. Like his three brothers, he spent his training at Real Madrid with a difficult name to bear, but that does not scare him and he is slowly starting to make his mark in the youth teams of the Casa Blanca. The 17-year-old left-hander is currently experiencing a positive development in his career. Left side that can evolve higher, but also in central hinge, he is distinguished by his atypical physique for his position (1m94).
He has good references with the France team being called up from the U17s and we have also seen him in the U17 group which won the Euro in 2022. He had the right to 3 appearances in the middle of Saël Kumbedi , Warren Zaire-Emery, Mathys Tel and even Désiré Doué. After a rather successful last season with Juvenil B (Real Madrid U18), he logically moved up a notch and now performs with Juvenil A (Real Madrid U19). Under the orders of a former Real Madrid player, namely Álvaro Arbeloa, Elyaz Zidane continues to progress positively.
Already scorer with Juvenil A
So much so that his coach would have already slipped his name to Florentino Pérez for the future with a view to a possible incorporation into the first team. He has already had the opportunity to train with the first team last season in February. However, before it becomes more recurrent, we will have to continue to take the steps for Elyaz Zidane. Considered as the most promising talent of his siblings, the youngest son of Zinedine Zidane has therefore discovered the U19 level this season and has already distinguished himself. Distinguished by his power, his impact, but also by his ability to raise the ball cleanly, he is also able to be comfortable on set pieces.
Indeed, for the resumption of the season with the Real Madrid U19s, he seized his chance from a corner to find the fault in a 2-2 draw against Villanovense. He was nevertheless less successful on the second goal conceded by his team. Proof that if he is capable of being dominant for his age group, he still has things to improve. Nevertheless appearing ahead of the passing times, he is considered among the great hopes of Real Madrid’s Fabrica. Seeing him appear soon in Castilla and possibly in the first team seems like the next steps to take. In the meantime, Elyaz Zidane is having fun in Juvenil A and gently biding his time.
