PSG: Leonardo, his opinion on the departure of Neymar

Brazilian football legend Leonardo has given his opinion on Neymar’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain to Saudi Arabia this summer.

Arriving at Paris Saint-Germain in August 2017 from FC Barcelona, Neymar finally left the capital club this summer to join the Saudi club Al-Hilal. Present as part of an interview for Globe this Tuesday, Leonardo, the former sports director of the Ile-de-France club, gave his opinion on what promises to be the end of the Brazilian’s career in Europe.

“This movement that is happening in Saudi Arabia, it is normal that it is still unknownexplained the 94 world champion about the massive summer exodus of players to the Saudi Pro League. But it’s not just Neymar who chose to go to Saudi Arabia. I’m not Neymar, but I went to Japan when I was 24. It could have been a very questionable choice and, for me, it was a wonderful thing”said Leonardo.
