After his year on loan at OGC Nice, the Ivorian Nicolas Pépé is leaving the top European level.

The former Nice Nicolas Pépé is on track to continue his career in the Middle East.

Grandpa, the regression continues

Pépé is in talks with Besiktas, but no agreement has been reached yet, which opens the door to Al Shabab, a Saudi Pro League club. This is reported by The Secret Scout: “Understanding Pepe received a proposal from the Saudi club Al Shabab. Arsenal are asking for a sum of 3 million euros. The player’s representatives are in Saudi Arabia to work and conclude the agreement”.

3 million euros is nothing compared to the 80M€ that the London club had paid for the Ivorian international in 2019. The latter remains the most expensive defector in the history of the Gunners.

Pepe spent last season on loan at Nice. With the Aiglons, however, he was hardly more successful than in the English capital. He scored 6 goals in 19 matches played.
