With the summer transfer window over, several teams are now looking to take care of other equally important matters such as contract extensions. This is particularly the case for Manchester United. Authors of an encouraging season last season under the leadership of Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils intend to keep this structure in the coming years.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is now part of the latter. Shunned and little spared by injuries during the tenure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the 25-year-old right defender is a starter at the start of the season. And while his contract expires in a year, the former Crystal Palace should thus initial a new long-term contract according to information from The Telegraph. As a reminder, United can also simply activate the option present in Wan-Bissaka’s contract which would bind him until 2025 with the Mancunian club.
