The meetings of the France hopefuls team will now be broadcast on the antennas of the L’Equipe group.
A new broadcaster for the France U23 team! It is the L’Equipe channel which will now follow the adventures of Thierry Henry’s Bleuets, for the next two seasons. This promises free-to-air broadcasting of all Euro 2025 friendly and qualifying matches, during the 2023-25 seasons. Only the Olympic Games will not be visible on the antennas of the L’Equipe group, which won a prize that also interested TF1, according to RMC.
“I am satisfied to have concluded this agreement for the broadcasting rights of the France Espoirs team with the L’Équipe channel, rejoices Philippe Diallo, the president of the FFF. This agreement gives new exposure to our France Espoirs team led by Thierry Henry. Fans will thus be able to follow in clear and free all the matches of our selection which is about to live a rich and exciting season with two major objectives: the qualifications for Euro 2025 and the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
Jérôme Saporito, director of the TV division of the L’Équipe Group, is also very happy. “We are delighted to host the matches of the France Espoirs team led by Thierry Henry on our airwaves. Once again, it’s great football in the clear that will be offered on the L’Équipe channel with a double challenge for this team full of promise: qualifying for Euro 2025 and preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympics. A nice gift for the L’Équipe channel, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this fall… and for all football lovers and supporters of the French teams. »
The France U23 team faces Denmark on Thursday in a friendly, then travels to Slovenia on Monday for the start of the Euro 2025 qualifiers.
