If the summer transfer window has closed for most European championships, the transfer market is not yet over in Saudi Arabia. The SPL continues to want to attract many players before the closing date, next Wednesday September 20th. And that’s good since Al-Ettifaq wants to recruit Demarai Gray from Everton who finally decided to sell his player, still under contract until June 2024 with an option for an additional year, following several internal conversations .

After Steven Gerrard, Moussa Dembélé and Jordan Henderson, the Toffees winger could be the next to join the Saudi club as an agreement has been reached between his leaders Al-Ettifaq and their English counterparts according to the latest indiscretions from our colleagues from The Athletic. While Demarai Gray has already passed the necessary medical tests for his transfer to go smoothly, the 27-year-old is expected to sign a four-year deal although the paperwork has yet to be signed.
