Former OL player Christophe Jallet condemned the behavior of Jean-Michel Aulas.
After having worked for OL for a long time, Jean-Michel Aulas has changed sides. Kicked out of the institution by the new owner, the former Rhone president dared to freeze the club’s accounts. This was not without consequence on the transfer window of Les Gones. He also sued John Textor for defamation.
“Aulas, his ego took over”
JMA is currently facing heavy criticism from fans for their backstage counterattack. And former club members are also stepping up to denounce this behavior. Christophe Jallet, former player of the Rhone team (2014-2017), said he felt “much disappointment” about what is happening.
“But I’m not surprised,” added the ex-international on the Canal Football Club show. Aulas is right on certain points, in particular to claim his due and to be paid on time. But one thing is certain is that he has a lot of ego. He has done exceptional things for the club, but at some point his ego takes over. He didn’t want to go out the back door. It was a bit borderline and he seeks revenge. When we sold the club, we also have to know how to get out of it. What he can’t do.”
Aulas and Textor tear each other apart behind the scenes. And to this problem is added the fact that there is a real blur in relation to the organization chart of the club. This is what Laure Boulleau notes in particular. “I have the feeling that there is no harmony between the management and the staff. That’s what worries me the most. Everyone does things on their own and it’s very harmful for the club.”she confided.
