New Parisian Bradley Barcola reacted to the whistles he received on Sunday during the match against his former club OL.

Leaving OL a few days before the end of the transfer window, Bradley Barcola was treated to a most hostile reception on his return to Groupama Stadium last Sunday. During the match between OL and Paris, he was taken to task by the local supporters, with deafening whistles. At the final whistle, he was also insulted by the Bad Gones.

Barcola is not resentful

The French international hopeful did not react hotly to his attacks. But he did it with a clear head. Rather than give in to the provocation, he chose to calm things down and expressed gratitude to his former home.

“A lot has happened in the last few days, it has not been easy to find the words, did he start by writing on social networks. It’s hard to separate things at the time, but it’s clearer today. To OL as a club, to the staff, coaches, educators, my former teammates and all the supporters who share things, thank you for everything. It is also thanks to you that I was able to get where I am today”.

While recalling his attachment to Les Gones, Barcola also sought to thank his new club for the support it has shown him during this difficult period on a personal level. “To PSG, to my teammates, to the Parisian supporters, thank you for making me feel welcome, I say little about it but it means a lot to me. I’ve never been good at long speeches, I prefer few sincere words so we’ll stop there. On to the pitch now »
