The Italian press is on fire for Inter’s new attacking duo formed by Lautaro Martinez and French international Marcus Thuram, signed during the offseason.
At 26, after 4 great seasons at Mönchengladbach (and at the end of his contract), Marcus Thuram carefully chose Inter Milan at the expense of other Serie A clubs, certain Premier League leaders but also PSG, he who grew up in the Paris region (he started with the young people of Neuilly-sur-Seine and Boulogne-Billancourt before being trained in Sochaux).
Thuram, just before returning to the France team at Clairefontaine, opened his goal counter during the third day of Serie A and a 4-0 victory against Fiorentina on Sunday evening at Meazza. The forward headed in a cross from Federico Dimarco to open the scoring in the first half. He also launched Lautaro Martinez on the second Milan goal at the start of the second.
After the “LaLu”, the terrible duo that the Argentinian composed with Romelu Lukaku during the title of champion in 2021, place at the “ThuLa”! This is the nickname given by Gazzetta dello sport to Simone Inzaghi’s new 3-5-2 attack. Thuram’s debut in Italy is conclusive!
