The Spanish technician let his rage explode on Sunday, when his men, thanks to an express counter-attack, had just scored the fourth Parisian goal. The reason ? A mistake by Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG did not go into detail on Sunday on the lawn of Olympique Lyonnais. Facing des Gones down the hole, the French champions prevailed 4-1, scoring all four goals in a one-sided first half. Perfectly launched by a penalty converted by Kylian Mbappé from the 3rd minute of play, the Rouge et Bleu spent a quiet evening.

Luis Enrique nevertheless had a big fit of anger just before the break on the action leading to the Parisians’ fourth goal. Blame it on a failed foot raise from Gianluigi Donnarumma. And the goal scored by Kylian Mbappé was not going to be enough to calm him down. While the Parisian players were celebrating the fine achievement of the tricolor world champion, the Spanish technician was still fuming after joining his assistants on the bench and kicking a cooler.

Seven stops for Donnarumma

A few moments earlier, Luis Enrique had asked his goalkeeper to play short and low to the ground, as evidenced by the images broadcast by Prime Video. Also, when the former Milanese cleared in an area deserted by his partners, which offered a stimulus ball to the Lyonnais, the Parisian coach exploded. Fortunately, this error remained without consequence since Warren Zaire-Emery immediately recovered the ball and launched the action which would bring the fourth goal after a first relay from Vitinha then another from Marco Asensio, decisive passer for Kylian Mbappé.

As for Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was treated to a sermon on the way to the locker room, he delivered a real recital in the Parisian goals, signing no less than seven saves in total before losing on a penalty from Corentin Tolisso.
