Mercato: A French international close to joining Galatasaray

If the summer transfer window has closed in all European championships, it is still open for clubs in Turkey. The Superlig teams intend to take advantage of this and finalize some last-minute purchases.

Galatasaray want to seize this opportunity and are about to secure the services of a French international. According to information from journalists RMC Sports Fabrice Hawkins, Tottenham midfielder Tangy Ndombélé should join the Istanbul club in the coming hours.

Tottenham Spurs and the Turkish club have reached an agreement on a season-long loan with an option to buy. A purchase option which should reach 15 million euros.

Not in the plans of the London club and its coach Ange Postecoglou, the Frenchman will make a new loan after the one made in Naples last season. This will be Tanguy Ndombélé’s third loan since joining Tottenham in the summer of 2019…

The former Lyonnais has never really succeeded in establishing himself and being consistent within the North London club. In Galatasaray, he could find players like Mauro Icardi, Dries Mertens or even Leo Dubois.
