Samuel Umtiti took his first steps with Losc this Sunday.

Launched in the battle against Montpellier this Sunday as part of the 4e Ligue 1 day, Samuel Umtiti made his comeback in the tricolor elite.

The person concerned, who had not played in the French championship since May 14, 2016, in the jersey of OL, came into play at the 86e minute in place of Jonathan David, for a narrow victory for the Mastiffs (1-0).

The 29-year-old defender, released by Barça this summer after a conclusive loan to Lecce, signed for two years at Losc.

With Parisians Lucas Hernandez and Ousmane Dembélé, Samuel Umtiti is the third world champion to discover or reconnect with Ligue 1 this summer.
