This Sunday evening, the fourth day of Ligue 1 ended with a sacred duel between Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain. Struggling with one point in three matches, Les Gones received Ile-de-France residents who had just come out of a benchmark victory against Lens. For this match, Laurent Blanc bet on a 4-2-3-1 with in particular Rayan Cherki and rookie Ernest Nuamah to support striker Tino Kadewere. PSG opted for a 4-3-3 with the trio Ousmane Dembélé, Marco Asensio and Kylian Mbappé in front. And the meeting started badly for the Gones since Corentin Tolisso mowed down Manuel Ugarte and caused a penalty (2nd). Kylian Mbappé did not need to be asked to transform him (1-0, 3rd). Led, Olympique Lyonnais tried to react against but Tino Kadewere spoiled a caviar from Rayan Cherki (8th). While the young Ernest Nuamah distinguished himself in the Parisian defense, the Ile-de-France residents asserted their superiority. After an attempt by Vitinha (16th), PSG took off following a cross from Ousmane Dembélé badly cleared by Anthony Lopes. Achraf Hakimi then arose to conclude (2-0, 21st). The match continued to heat up and Rayan Cherki (31st) then Corentin Tolisso (34th) tried to react for OL. Meanwhile, Achraf Hakimi had touched the bar (32nd).

But again, Paris Saint-Germain were sharp and way above their opponent. Manuel Ugarte threw deep Marco Asensio who worsened the scoreboard a little more (3-0, 38th). It was not over in this first period and Marco Asensio put the Kylian MbappĂ© rocket into orbit. The latter then offered himself a double (4-0, 45th +2). An abysmal gap at the break and which could not be resolved upon returning from the locker room. If Ernest Nuamah offered a timid attempt (46th), it was the Parisian club which mastered its subject in tribute to a deviation of the head of Ousmane DembĂ©lĂ© on the crossbar (56th). There followed in quick succession opportunities from Ernest Nuamah (57th) and Ousmane DembĂ©lĂ© again (57th). Decidedly active, the former Blaugrana narrowly missed the right window a few minutes later (65th). On a corner, Ernest Nuamah and Nicolas Tagliafico came very close to saving the honor (70th). Finally, the latter was hooked by Warren Zaire-Emery and this gave OL a penalty (73rd). Corentin Tolisso was in charge of hitting him and transformed the sentence (4-1, 74th). Came into play and whistled by his former supporters, Bradley Barcola came close to joining the party (85th). Finally, the score did not move and PSG won 4-1. Luis Enrique’s team climbs to second place and sinks Olympique Lyonnais to the very last position in the standings.
