Initially called up to the France team, Ibrahima Konaté did not play Liverpool’s last two matches against Newcastle (2-1) and Aston Villa (3-0). Hit in the hamstring of the left thigh, he will ultimately not be able to play with the Blues.
It is therefore the OGC Nice player, Jean-Clair Todibo who will replace him for the matches against Ireland (next Thursday) and Germany (Tuesday 12 September).
