At a press conference this Saturday, Xavi took stock of the FC Barcelona transfer window.
THE FC Barcelona activated in the last hours of the transfer window by formalizing the arrivals of Joao Felix And Joao Cancelo on loan, two arrivals made possible thanks to the departures of Clément Lenglet (Aston Villa) and Ansu Fati (Brighton) also on loan.

This Saturday at a press conference, Xavi returned to the transfer window of the Blaugranas and in particular the departure of Fati, deemed necessary for him to return to the highest level with Barça. “He felt he had to leave and play, the goal is for him to come back. He still represents the future of the club, the main objective is for Barca to triumph again”he explained about the Spanish winger.
Earlier, the Catalan technician had spoken of his new offensive recruit Joao Félix, whom he is delighted to see arriving in his workforce. “He suits us 100%. We have always appreciated him, not just the president. He is fast, skilful in front of goal… He can play as number 9, on the right, on the left, in support. It can fit the three positions in front”rejoiced the former midfielder. “We will treat them like any other player, with respect and a good attitude”.
