Mbappé, the message of apology

After announcing for two months an agreement between PSG and Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappé, the PSG Community site has finally recognized its error.

It’s the end of a long soap opera for Kylian Mbappé… and for PSG Community. Friday evening, one hour before the end of the summer transfer window, the site dedicated to Paris Saint-Germain news ended up recognizing what had been obvious for a few days: “Kylian Mbappé will not join Real Madrid this year. »

On June 22, PSG Community had however released the scoop of its life, announcing the transfer of the world champion, on the basis of an agreement between the Emir of Qatar and the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez. Amount of the transaction: 250 million euros, including bonus. In recent weeks, and even if the trend seemed to be reversing, with the return to the grounds of Bondynois, the site maintained its information, and this famous tweet of June 22 remained pinned, highlighted… until this Friday.

In its post in the form of a mea-culpa, PSG Community recognizes its error but does not explain it. The site does not say if this famous agreement was not respected, or if it simply did not exist. The first hypothesis would have been easier to accept, so we imagine that it is rather the second solution, unfortunately. “The transfer did not ultimately take place, simply explains PSG Community. The transfer window reminds us every year that there are many twists and turns and this year was no exception to the rule. »

The PSG Community site assures that it demonstrates values (“humility, ethics and respect” for his readers), which is a way of saying that he was not looking for the buzz at all costs with this “excluded” on the hottest issue of the summer transfer window. And PSG Community tries to save face by recalling that it had been “good” on the coach’s file, announcing Luis Enrique when many more established media leaned towards Julian Nagelsmann. But we can fear that this will hardly be enough to catch up with the Mbappé quack…
