Announced leaving this summer, Alban Lafont has extended until 2027 with FC Nantes.

This is the little surprise of this Nantes transfer window. While his departure was expected for this summer, Alban Lafont finally extended his contract with the Canaries until 2027. A video, captured in the wake of Nantes-OM on Friday evening, shows him brandishing a jersey with the date of the new expiry of his lease.

Like Ludovic Blas, Lafont had an exit voucher for this summer. But the Nantes goalkeeper was injured on the first day of Ligue 1, which changed the situation. With this contract extension, the former Toulousain assures his club that he will not leave free at the end of the season.
