Erling Haaland has set a new record as the season is just getting started.
Erling Haaland has set a new record by becoming the fastest Premier League player to reach 50 goals and assists, after netting three goals against Fulham.
Haaland became the fastest player to reach that mark since Cole did so in 43 matches. The Norway international achieved this feat in just 39 matches. He provided an assist for Julian Alvarez’s opener and then scored two goals himself, one from a strike and the other from a penalty. He then added a late third goal to take the score to 51.
Haaland has been in fine form since the start of the season. He has scored six times in just four matches, having netted 52 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions last season. He will play a vital role in City’s title win.
City will play West Ham next weekend.
