Transferred to Paris Saint-Germain in the last minutes of the summer transfer window, Randal Kolo Muani, absent for the trip to Lyon, had a hectic day this Friday. Determined to join the capital club, the French international finally won his case, leaving Eintracht Frankfurt for a check estimated at 90 million euros. Through the voice of their sports director, Markus Krösche, the Eagles have also justified this late transfer. “We would have liked to keep Randal longer at home”first admitted the German leader on the club’s website before detailing the reasons for this operation.

“We had always communicated in this direction over the past few weeks. In the end, the evolution of the last hours and the economic parameters with record income for Eintracht Frankfurt thanks to the transfer of the player were decisive. In the late afternoon, we let it be known that there was no basis for an agreement and that we continued to pursue our plans with Randal Kolo Muani. Late in the evening we received an offer that could not be refused from an economic point of view in the interest of Eintracht Frankfurt. We would like to thank Randal Kolo Muani for his performances last season.. As a reminder, during his only season spent in the jersey of Eintracht Frankfurt, the former Nantes player scored 23 goals and made 17 assists in 46 matches in all competitions.
