Auxerre takes Bordeaux down hard

AJA obtained an important victory in Bordeaux (2-4), Saturday during the 5th day of Ligue 2.

After two consecutive draws (Angers, Grenoble), AJ Auxerre relaunched nicely in Ligue 2 by winning Saturday in Bordeaux during the 5th day.

The 4-2 success in Gironde soil was marked, among other things, by Florian Ayé’s double (36th, 59th) or the victorious header from Jubal, the Auxerre captain (1-1, 33rd).

Gauthier Hein is the other scorer for AJA (1-3, 56th) while Albert Elis’ goal (2-4, 83rd) had fueled Bordeaux’s hopes of a spectacular comeback. In vain.

In the standings, the formation of Christophe Pélissier temporarily rises to 3rd place. The Bordelais of David Guion find themselves ninth.
