According to Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch international will head to Saudi Arabia, where he will sign a three-year contract with Al-Ettifaq. At Al-Ettifaq, Wijnaldum will reunite with two former Liverpool captains, coach Steven Gerrard, and former teammate Jordan Henderson. He will also partner former Lyonnais Moussa Dembélé.
