Paris Saint-Germain is making a very interesting sprint for the end of its transfer window. After stealing Ousmane Dembélé from FC Barcelona in exchange for “only” €50 million, the capital club is about to buy another tricolor international recruit: Randal Kolo Muani (24).

Author of a very prolific first season at Eintracht Frankfurt (23 goals and 17 assists in 46 matches), the former resident of FC Nantes is about to return to France, somewhat against all odds. Declared untransferable by the German club, RKM should finally join Kylian Mbappé’s band. A great asset since the vice-world champion can evolve as well in the axis as on one side.

A blue attack

After asking his leaders to let him go, Kolo Muani quickly agreed with PSG, as we revealed to you. It only remained for the Red and Blue to do the same with Eintracht. Paris then made an initial offer of between €60 and €70 million. Faced with German refusal, a second (€70m + bonus) was then drawn.

Today, we can announce to you that a total agreement has been reached between the three parties. The amount of compensation would amount to €90 million. After only a year spent in the Bundesliga, Randal Kolo Muani takes over the management of the capital. For its part, Eintracht is undoubtedly disappointed to see its star striker leave so quickly, but Frankfurt will console itself by realizing a huge capital gain with a player who arrived free of any contract in 2022. Last pitfall all the same, that the ‘Eintracht finds Kolo Muani’s successor. It will not necessarily be Hugo Ekitike, with whom no agreement has yet been reached. A plan B has even been activated by Frankfurt.
