After recruiting many stars during the summer transfer window, Saudi Arabia is looking to finish strong by signing Mohamed Salah.

Saudi Arabia will have been one of the main stirrers in the 2023 summer transfer window. Still little known and devoid of stars a few months ago, this emerging championship marked the summer with the recruitment of many great players playing in Europe such as Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mané, N’Golo Kanté, who followed the choice of Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of December.

Al-Ittihad ready for anything for Salah

And to close this exceptional transfer window, the Saudi Pro League wants to afford the most expensive transfer of the summer by recruiting Mohamed Salah. His two attacking companions in Liverpool Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mané have joined Al-Ahli and Al-Nassr respectively. For the Egyptian, it is Al-Ittihad, club of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté or his ex-teammate Fabinho, who is ready for all the follies.

According to information from Sky Sports, the Saudi club would have seen their offer of 175 million euros rejected by the Reds and could therefore try to increase the amount further to afford the 31-year-old player. Regarding the salary of the latter, it could be between 500 and 600 million euros over four years, he will agree to leave if Liverpool let him go.
