OM validated this Friday, the last day of the summer transfer window, a final recruit.
Amir Murillo will therefore not be OM’s last summer recruit. In the pipes over the past few days, a final deal was concluded by the Olympian staff on this 1er market closing September. It again concerns the defensive sector of Marseille who will also have recorded the arrival of Renan Lodi during the transfer window.
A few hours after landing in Marignane, Bamo Méïté will be able to sign a five-year contract for the Phocaeans – a full agreement having been reached today between OM and Lorient for the transfer of the 21-year-old central defender. The young Ivorian has 19 Ligue 1 matches to his name with Les Merlus (for one goal scored); he participated in the first two league matches this season, including a goalless draw against PSG.

This transfer is linked – but dissociated in accounting terms – from that of Isaak Touré, the 2.06m giant who takes the opposite route and joins Brittany for the next five years. Solicited on the market, the former Le Havre recruited a year ago by OM and loaned six months to Auxerre – with success – gave his preference to the Lorient project. The amounts committed by the two clubs have not yet leaked.
