After attracting Josko Gvardiol (RB Leipzig), Jérémy Doku (Stade Rennais) and Mateo Kovacic (Chelsea) for just under 180 million euros, the English club has reached an agreement with Wolverhampton for the transfer of Matheus Nunes. The 25-year-old midfielder arrives for 60 million euros while Tommy Doyle will join Wolves in the other direction for just over 5.5 million euros.

Matheus Nunes continues his ascent
A native of Brazil who lived in Portugal for a long time, Matheus Nunes went through his training club Ericeirense before joining Estoril Praia and then the Sporting CP reserve. With the Leoes, he was able to climb the steps, winning the league title in 2021 and then becoming a Portuguese international. He has 11 caps (1 achievement) and he was part of the group at the last World Cup.
