Manchester City has completed its summer transfer window by bringing in Portuguese international Matheus Nunes.
The English and European champion club struck a nice blow a few hours before the closing of the transfer market. The Sky Blues have completed the signing of midfielder Matheus Nunes from Wolverhampton for 60 million euros. The deal also includes a 10% sell clause for Wolves on any profit City make on the 25-year-old in the future.
A fourth recruit for Guardiola
The Portuguese international, who has 11 caps with his country, has signed a five-year contract with City. He is the fourth recruit of the offseason after Jérémy Doku, Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol. He will offer an additional solution to Guardiola in midfield.

“I am very happy to join Manchester City, the European champions and a club that I have admired for a long time”Nunes said after initialling her lease.
“The opportunity to work under Pep Guardiola, one of the greatest managers of all time, and alongside some of the best players in the world was something I simply couldn’t turn down,” he added.
A previous bid from City for Nunes was turned down, with Wolves insisting on a price closer to what they were asking for at over €70m.
