Lille will be entitled to an unprecedented trip to the Conference League.

Narrowly qualified for the group stage of the Conference League, after having had to go through extra time against the Croats of Rijeka, Lille now knows its menu for the group stage.

While they could have inherited from Aston Villa or Fiorentina, the Mastiffs were finally placed in a group that seems very affordable, with Slovan Bratislava, Ljubljana and KI Klaksvik. The Faroese club have written a page in European football by becoming the first representative of their country to qualify for the group stage of a European Cup.
