Otherwise you have to go through quick sales. Ansu Fati is on his way to being transferred to Brighton in the form of a loan and Ez Abde should bounce back in the coming hours at Betis. An agreement is very close for the Moroccan, as we said this morning. But it could well be that an unexpected sale intervenes to finally release the last files.
A €40m offer has arrived for Lewandowski
According to Sport, a last-minute offer arrived on Joan Laporta’s desk. And it has something to think about the Catalans since a Saudi club, whose identity has not been revealed, offers 40 M€ to transfer Robert Lewandowski. At this stage, nothing says that this proposal will be accepted, nor of the motivations of the Polish striker. It’s still too early to know but it should change in the afternoon, one way or the other.
Barça offered the striker last year €45m, plus €5m in variables, from Bayern Munich. Last year’s star rookie had a great season, scoring 33 goals in all competitions in 46 games, and has already found the net this term. Only, Lewandowswki is 35 years old and such an offer will not come up again, a priori. Problem, the Blaugranas will struggle to find a renowned replacement in a few hours.
