The last day of this transfer market has already started strong at Borussia Dortmund. The German club have announced the arrival of Niclas Füllkrug from Werder Bremen. With him, the German club hopes to pass a milestone, especially in the Champions League where it will face PSG in particular, and especially in the Bundesliga to finally win the title which escaped it by a hair’s breadth last May.

For €15 million, it is quite simply the top scorer in the championship last year (16 goals, tied with Christopher Nkunku) who has signed up until 2026. The competition promises to be tough in front between the presences of the 30-year-old German but also Sébastien Haller and the young Youssoufa Moukoko. It is the latter who should be the main victim of this arrival.

A departure on loan is under study

At the end of the contract at the start of the year, the player trained at the club had finally decided to extend in January to go until 2026. But the end of the season had not gone so well, the striker having to stop several weeks due to an injury. At the same time, new revelations about his supposed age have surfaced, in addition to having been the victim of racist attacks during the Euro Espoirs.

The period is frankly not at the party so to revive, Sky Sport Germany reveals that a last-minute departure is on the table. Several clubs are interested in Moukoko’s services and have inquired in recent hours. There is in particular Atalanta Bergamo, which has just separated from Duvan Zapata. The BvB is open to anything, keep it as well as lend it. It is up to the player to make his decision.
