Returning from a loan to Marseille, Nuno Tavares leaves Arsenal again. The Portuguese side has joined a small Premier League club.
New start on loan for Nuno Tavares. The left-back, still not in Mikel Arteta’s plans at Arsenal, has just been loaned to Nottingham Forest. A paying loan that includes a purchase option.
Landed at the Gunners in 2021 from Benfica, Nuno Tavares had been loaned to Olympique de Marseille last season. His record in the white and blue jersey will remain thin with 39 games, for only 6 goals. Which cost him his place.
“Forest is a historic club that has won two European Cups and being part of it makes me very happy. I’m very happy to stay in the Premier League because it’s the best league in the world and I’m grateful to Forest for giving me this opportunity.”reacted Nuno Tavares on the site of the English club.
