Former Real Madrid player Eden Hazard could bounce back in a minor European league.

Eden Hazard was expected to retire following the end of his adventure with Real Madrid. No longer having much of a head for football, the ex-Lillois is ready to hang up his crampons. Only an attractive project could lead him to change his mind. And this project could come from Scotland.

Hazard ready to put on the crampons?

According to AS in Spain, the Belgian received a proposal which would have allowed him to join the Scottish Premiership. The identity of the club is unclear but the source suggests Rangers or Celtic would have been one of the teams.

If he joins Celtic, he can play in the Champions League. While with Rangers, he will feature in the Europa League. Anyway, it will be a good chance for him to rebound. And British football is not unknown to him.

Hazard left Real Madrid when his contract expired, having struggled with injuries throughout his time in the Spanish capital. Proposals have also been made to it by the United States, England, Spain, France and Saudi Arabia. He has so far pushed them all away.
