The training strike started by Matheus Nunes (25) seems to have paid off. Determined not to play again with Wolverhampton to join Manchester City, the Portuguese midfielder should soon wear the Skyblues jersey.

While the file was announced at a standstill, the Telegram And Skysports announce in chorus that a verbal agreement has just been found between Cityzens and Wolves. Manchester City should pay the requested €70m and Tommy Doyle will do the opposite in exchange for €5m. It’s a separate operation, but it helped to unblock relations between the two clubs.
