As we revealed to you exclusively yesterday, Atalanta and Torino are actively discussing the last hours of the summer transfer window to complete a large exchange involving three players: Italian defender Alessandro Buongiorno (24) could take off in Bergamo , while Colombian striker Duván Zapata (32) would arrive in Turin, accompanied by French full-back Brandon Soppy (21) on loan and an envelope of €17m. According to our information, the native of Cali has not yet managed to come to an agreement with the Granata, unlike the Italian who has already settled several contractual details with the Dea. Indeed, a contract until June 2028 with a salary of 1.8 million euros awaits Buongiorno in Lombardy.

Nevertheless, Duván Zapata is still greedy with the Piedmontese management since he would require a three-season contract with a salary of 3 million euros to leave Bergamo. For the moment, Torino remains on its first idea, namely a two-year lease for 2 million per year. With the hours passing, the Colombian could accept a lower salary, around 2.5 million, as long as he has the assurance of a three-year contract with his new club. As for Atalanta, the management makes Alessandro Buongiorno a top priority to strengthen the axis of defense alongside the young Giorgio Scalvini. The two teams are still negotiating and trying to convince all parties before Friday evening.
