Tottenham failed to reach an agreement with FC Barcelona to bring in Clément Lenglet for the duration. The central defender has returned to the Culés but his future is elsewhere. Barça could even terminate his contract in order to facilitate his departure (the two parties are linked until 2026). Sevilla are following their case closely, as are OL and Stade Rennais. That’s not all.

According to the Spanish press, which relies on English sources, Aston Villa has entered the dance in recent hours. Unai Emery greatly appreciates the qualities of the 28-year-old left-hander. Negotiations have even started between the two directions, to the great relief of the Blaugranas since the departure of the Frenchman is one of the priorities of the summer.
