The transfer is on track. Clément Lenglet, who passed through Seville between the winter of 2017 and the summer of 2018, could well return to Andalusia in the coming days. Currently in the colors of FC Barcelona after being loaned to Tottenham last season, the left-handed central defender is getting closer to a return to his roots in Spain.
According to MD, Clement Lenglet has given the green light to return to Sevilla which should ease the negotiations between the Catalans and the Andalusians. The French international (15 caps, 1 goal) knows the house and the adaptation would be greatly facilitated by his time at the club a few years ago now. That said, Barça still has to agree with the Sevillians on salary, the only criterion that still blocks between the two teams. A deal should still take place, on the basis of a one-season loan.
